ANSWER: Please go to our web page at http://www.interwb.com/order.html There is a link at the top of our Memory and Motherboard Upgrade Pages to this page. All the ordering information you need is there. For Credit Cards please click on the link on our order.html page which goes to: https://www.addr.com/~gcw/credit.html We ask for your Customer Service 800# in case our credit card terminal's address/zip verification fails so that we can manually name/address verify. Note that for International Orders, you must fax or email us an image of the front and back of your credit card. This is because of the large amount of intl credit card fraud orders over the Internet. ALSO note that your credit info is NOT stored online, but is sent to us via 2048 bit (Exceeds Military Grade!) PGP encryption email which after we decrypt & process, is deleted from our internet mailbox and stored locally on our PC, away from the Internet. For Fedex COD money order shipments (USA Only!), just EMAIL to: orders@interwb.com with your complete name, address, daytime phone number. 2) Why don't you accept AMEX for domestic orders? ANSWER: AMEX has a very nice feature in that address and phone verification is provided for ALL addresses globally, whereas VISA/MC does not provide this service. However, AMEX also charges us a much higher transaction rate then VISA/MC so we prefer to keep AMEX charges to international orders only. We will, however, consider exceptions if required. Also note that if you are an international customer and you place your order with AMEX, you do *NOT* have to fax/email us your card image however your shipping address must verify with AMEX! 3) Do you accept International Orders? ANSWER: YES! For credit card orders, you must fax or email us a copy of the front and back of your card to prevent fraud. We use Federal Express Intl Priority Shipping which is very fast. You are responsible for paying customs taxes and duties to Federal Express, if applicable. Fedex will contact you by telephone so it is important that you provide us with a working daytime phone number! 4) What are your Shipping and Handling Fees? ANSWER: It depends on the weight, dollar value, and destination. We have a flat rate Fedex discount to anywhere in the USA based on weight and value (that is, whether we ship to as far as CA or FL, its the same as nearby IL). The Fedex 2-day 1lb rate starts at $7.50 and Overnight at $9.00. Fedex International Priority letter rate starts at $15. Add $0.50 per $100 for insurance. 5) What is your Return Policy? ANSWER: Because we are a small company, we take extra steps to make sure we provide expert, reliable upgrade information so that returns are not needed. In the event something is defective, we'll replace it with like item. In many cases we will offer a full refund less shipping, but there may be a 20% restock fee because we have to pay for return shipping costs and handling to maintain our Just-in-Time inventories. Note that Memory, CPUs, and Special order items are NOT refundable due to market price changes with time. 6) How long does it take to receive my order? ANSWER: If the item ordered is in stock, we will normally ship out the same day, or the next day at latest. We maintain stock in most of the items listed. If it is not in stock, it may take up to 3 days (normally 1-2 days) for us to get the item in. Then just add the additional time it takes for Fedex to get it to you. We do offer a free upgrade to Saturday delivery if required. 7) How come your prices are so low compared to retail stores? ANSWER: Because we maintain low, current inventories we are able to buy our parts with "latest" prices from our suppliers which in the case of memory and CPU parts, prices generally fall with time. That way we get lower priced items and pass on the savings to you. We also operate with little overhead. 8) What is your background? Why did you start INTERWEB? ANSWER: I have a BS Honors Degree from the Univ. of Illinois Urbana, one of the top CompEng and EE schools in the nation. I started INTERWEB because I saw the frustration out there with so many people who brought systems like Packard Bell (sorry no offense!) and other big name brand systems and just get the "run around", "I don't know or we don't support it", and "Busy Signal or Please Hold" syndrome. Here at INTERWEB, you won't get that anymore! And Best of All our Pre-Sales Expertise is Free! (OK, so maybe in hopes that you end up buying from us! :) ) 9) What is your current price on item XXX? ANSWER: Our web page already has all our items listed with fairly current prices! We upgrade, er update our web pages frequently to reflect new prices. We will always reconfirm my email if the current price is different from the web listed price, and ask for your permission to adjust the order total accordingly. 10) How can I reach you if I still have questions?
